Technology levels:
Zanark: Near-Future in all areas
Zanark, being the most technologically advanced in Land and Airship technology, is even farther advanced in conventional weapons, and even surpasses current-day weaponry in some areas. However, its status as a land-locked nation makes it utterly hopeless in sea combat and Albian’s equal in Airplane combat.
Albians: 1940-1960, with unequivocal advances in naval and medical technology
Based on World War II and Cold War-Era England, Albians is divided into 4 areas: Lancaster (Wales), Britannia (England), Carlyle (Ireland) and the Highlands (Scotland). It has disproportionately advanced weaponry in sea combat, and uses mordern day battleships and cruisers, despite its planes and tanks being only 1940’s-era. However, its status as an island nation makes it far behind in comparison to Zanark in Land and Airship technology. It has an edge in MedTech and MagiTech in SOME AREAs, though.
Yamato: 1860, Edo-era, basic Albians-imported gunships
Long called the “Hermit Kingdom”, Yamato has recently began to ally with Albians and Shan Guo, and has used its massive wealth to acquire a small but powerful fleet of modern-day warships and submersibles. In other areas, though, it is rather weaker than what is hoped.
Drachma: 1860’s, but with Roman armor
Despite its weakness in Weapons, Drachma’s troops are masters of discipline, numbers and strategy, and has once wiped out a fleet from Zanark and Marseilles completely on strategical strengths. Its army is one of the largest, and despite having a lower firing rate and a smaller clip, its seemingly-antique cannons and rifles can match the guns of Albians and Zanark.
Rausten: Completely magic-based
A theocracy, Rausten uses not only Signums, but also its own brand of magic, holy magic. While it is well-defended, ti rarely has to defend against it, due to its political and religious significance.
Shan Guo: Near-Future era rockets and firearms, but otherwise 1910-era
Shan Guo, like Yamato, had been, for a long time, isolationist. However, it was the inventor of gunpowder, and it has mastered the art of rockets far beyond any country’s bounds. Kerala and Shan Guo’s rockets can go miles past even the best of Albian’s artillery and Zanark’s Missiles, despite lacking its aiming sophistication, and is somewhat inexpensive. This advantage has allowed it to fend off the far-large and well-trained armies of Drachma with ease.
Kachiro: Completely magic-based
A sanctuary, Kachiro is guarded by Revenants, Togaochi who willingly and forcibly imbue themselves with parts of the tree. This saps their health, but also allows them to keep their sanity while retaining their Togaochi abilities and the ability to change back into human form. Kachiro itself, a city of refuge, have few defenses but the white tree’s barrier, which can be manipulated to drive enemy armies insane.
